How do I upgrade my reef tank without a chiller, and how can I keep my refrigerator running metal halide? ?
UI has 125 gallons reef aquarium and have installed three MH bulbs in my place, but also heat water. Different perspectives do not want to buy or invest in a refrigerator. What can I do?
Evaporative cooling can be done at lower cost, but you will likely need to put distance between water and light. A fan or two over the entire surface of the reservoir retain heat in constant motion from the tank water evaporates.
